ROBINSON VENTURES ATTENDS TECHNITE 2025

Robinson Ventures' Principal, Johanna Dutton, attended TechNite on Friday, May 31!

TechNite is an annual event hosted by the Roanoke-Blacksburg Technology Council (RBTC). The event serves as a premier gathering for the region’s leading innovators, entrepreneurs, technologists, and community leaders to celebrate the vibrant and growing technology ecosystem in Southwest Virginia.

Held in Roanoke, TechNite showcases the accomplishments and contributions of individuals and organizations driving innovation throughout the region. The evening featured engaging networking opportunities, insightful presentations from industry thought leaders, and a series of prestigious awards recognizing excellence in areas such as innovation, leadership, entrepreneurship, and regional impact.

During the event, Johanna had the opportunity to reconnect with several prominent figures in the local innovation community. She caught up with Jess Edwards, Director of the Innovation Studio at the Roanoke-Blacksburg Innovation Alliance, and Donielle Jopko, Owner of Work Life Solutions, LLC, both of whom are actively involved in advancing innovation and well-being across the region.

 

 

Johanna also met Aileen Helsel, Director of Innovation at Carilion Clinic, who was one of the evening’s award recipients. Aileen was honored with the Regional Leadership Award, a recognition that highlights her outstanding efforts in driving strategic innovation within the healthcare sector and her impactful contributions to the region’s innovation landscape.
