Cian Robinson (Founder and CEO) attended the second qualifying event for Startup Prize: Focus on Health from June 20th-22nd. Startup Prize gives new entrepreneurs hands-on mentorship and a chance to win funding for their companies.

This weekend, 39 health startup entrepreneurs from 15 states across the country gathered in Shreveport, LA for the in-person qualifying round. It kicked off with a welcome mixer on Friday in the late afternoon where founders had the opportunity to network with mentors and their fellow founders, and then Saturday had round tables and panels that gave the entrepreneurs networking and pitch opportunities. The conference ended with a brunch Sunday morning with advice for those moving forward in the competition.

 

 

The final, in-person competition will be held from August 22nd-24th in Shreveport, Louisiana, where finalists will have one hour to present their startups to a panel of judges.
